Most phillips head screwdrivers aren't made all that well, and will quickly get damaged to the point that they no longer effectively fit the screws, especially if you are pushing them down into the screws regularly. That type of thing isn't generally necessary. |

I'd been wanting to do something very "old school-classic" looking with some nice soft 'n' mushy tolex for a while. When I was coming up with the idea concept, I kept thinking of those cool headcases that Mesa makes for a lot of Their stuff. It turned out really cool, and I feel way more confident on working with tolex now. |

Nubs, Front to back including the feet that are on the back of it, the 7Pro is 11" deep (overall). I would think, that a 12" deep rack would be more than sufficient. Maybe, one of the Guys that have the Carvin head cases could give a measurement of the depth of those. If I wouldn't have built Mine, I probably would've went with one of those, as they look pretty nice.
Edit- I was a bit late, Verminaard was already on it. |

Anyone know where I can get a headcase for the 7Pro covered in the Ampeg checkerboard like the cabs?

I don't believe anyone sells the black diamond tolex that's on the new portaflex cabs. That would look very cool though.
