Question Ampeg SVT CL or Ampeg SVT 4

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys....
I m looking to buy a new bass amp to replace my trace elliot bass combo and have always like the Ampeg bass heads. Where i live I have to get one for abroad so I don't really have the opportunity in trying these bass amps. I play in an alternative rock band and play a Usa Jazz Bass..
Which one should I go for in your opinion, The ampeg Svt classic or the Svt 4

Thanks for your help

CL. Heavy, but has a tube power section as well as a tube pre, so more tubey goodness.

They are different sounding beasts. Pick what you love.

The tubes are cool; but the 4 pro truly thumps. Every single note comes through with confidence.
