Ampeg SVT cl (no heritage) is worthy?? please school me

Just want opinions from user of this head and his 4x10 cab, is worthy?? is a GOOD sounding one?? thanks!!

Of course it sounds good! I've owned an SVT-II and SVT-CL. Both were great! I sold the CL because of a shoulder sprain. I couldn't lift it! Just make sure that the 410 is 4 ohms!

Instead of the SVT, I'm using a V4BH into a Marshall 410 with vintage CTS speakers from an Ampeg 810. The V4BH is very close in tone to a 100w version of the SVT-CL.

Thanks!! i'm thinking in getting the 4x10 from ampeg classic series too...so the ohms are no problem rigth?? 'casue i think all are 4 ohms.....i already have a cabinet but is 8ohms.. so the ampeg cab is a must.

Most 4X10 cabs come in either 4 ohms or 8 ohms.

make sure it's a 4 ohm cab


The HLF is 4 ohm

The HE is 8ohm
