Am looking to buy a new amp and I'm stuck in between choosing an Ampeg SVT Classic or The SVT 2PRO...
Will be getting a 4x10 cab with either choice
any ideas or suggestions please?

I would buy the CL because the 2pro requires a rack case, plus you need to be careful about getting the right kind of case to prevent overheating. Plus I think the CL looks cooler, but that's just subjective.

thanks | Either amps needs a 4 ohm cab, most 4x10 are 8ohms. Also, most people will recommend a sealed cab with a tube amp.

When I was touring a lot, it was so much easier to set up and break down rack gear.
