Ampeg SVT Tube Preamp

G'day,
I've just got myself a classic restoration project. It's an old Ampeg SVT Preamp, from who knows where or when, I don't know. The amp looks to have been around the block a few times with plenty of scratches, dings and replacement parts. There looks to be an assortment of nuts, bolts and rivets holding the old girl together. She is in need of some good lovin to get her firing again and I'm prepared to do the hard yards. Does anyone know any info regarding this style of preamp?
What I do know is:

Ampeg SVT is written on the front.
The face is black with white writing and curved borders.
There are 4 x 12AX7 tubes.
It has white rocker switches.
It has 2 channels with 2 inputs, not the usual 4.

Do any of you gurus out know what you're looking at?
This will help me get her back to her former glory.

I searched a pretty good bit and couldn't find any svt preamps with the old style rocker switches on them. Can you post some more pics..... front and back?

G'day,
Here's some more photos to check out. As you can see someone has had a real go at this one. A transformer hanging off the back!? 4x12AX7 tubes. I think I'm narrowing it down to a 1972 model and to keep it original replace with 12DW7 tubes. Anyone got any clues?
