Ampeg SVT VR vs SVT 2 Pro Premier Edition

Sign in to disble this ad
So I've currently got an SVT 2 Pro Premier Edition. I've also found someone who's willing to trade me a SVT VR for my 2 pro straight up. Waddya think? I'm in a heavy ambient instrumental metal band. I do use the footswitchable EQ on my 2 pro, but I could always get an eq pedal for the VR.

for metal the 2pro is more versatile and can give you the distortion you need without cranking up the amp , the vr is all about clean sound , but I would trade up in a sec if the vr is in good conditions and without issues

Put me in the " me too Jimmy! Me too!" section.
But, I think it's all wether you think one will work better for you.
The VR works for me but, I don't thinknyoure could go wrong with either amp.

As much as I like the VR, I'd stick with the PRO.
