Ampeg SVT210AV Micro Cab

Was wondering If it is possible to hook 3 of these ampeg svt micro cab up to a 500W orange terror bass head. I know the 610 hlf has weird wiring which is why im asking. hope someone can help me out.

Is the Orange safe down to 2 ohms.

Yeah, that's the thing. If your amp is only rated for 4 ohms, then no, you cannot use 3 8 ohm cabs. Read the faq's and stickies for a better understanding on how all this stuff works.

4 ohm minimum on the orange, you could only run two. If your looking to cop the sound of an hlf, the 210av's are not going to do it.

yeah, then as stated before, using 3 of those cabs will altogether add up to a 2 ohm load; not compatible with that amp.

If you're looking for HLF kind of tone in a smaller package that can take some righteous loudness, you're better off looking at the Portaflex line. Two of any of those cabs would pack a good low end wallop not quite as low as the SVT 410hlf but in that range. Even the sealed PF cabs have a goodly amount of lows. That said, I love the 210av's. Lighter on the lows than the HLF cabs of course, but sounds a lot like a small SVT 810.
