Ampeg svt3 or Hartke LH 1000

Hello friends.
I know the best answer to this question is to test the two and the one I like.

I like the classic tones. I own two tube amps. (Mesa Boogie and Marshall)
But I need something easier to portage.
I've thought about these two amps: Ampeg svt3 and Hartke LH1000.

The problem is that I have not access to a LH1000
I've tried a svt3 and have loved it.
The price of svt3 used is the same as that of the new LH1000.

If anyone has experience with these two heads please share your experiences.

Thanks friends!!

That should not be a problem. Are you missing a "not" in there?

Thanks for the correction.
I'm sorry my English is poor.

Don't worry about English not being your main language. We know what you meant.

I like both heads. Two completely different heads, though. The Hartke has the Fender tone stack, which means that treble and bass are boost only and mids are cut only so it lends itself to more scooped tones but can be set flat if needed (still gets good sounds, though), whereas the Ampeg tone stack allows cuts and boosts of each knob's frequency range. I prefer the Ampeg (big surprise I'll bet ;) ) but Larry Hartke is an awesome dude and I like the amps he makes, too, even if they're quite different from Ampegs.

Thanks JimmyM your description has been really clarifying.
I think the LH1000 with AK cabin will be my bet.
