I might buy a SVT810e tomorow, it says on the jack plate 2007 Loud Technologies, made In China, The cab is in mint cond.
I would like to know if those Loud Tech Made in china are good cabs cause I know that there are some `darker years`¨ in the history of svt810.
Don't need some company bashing here, i'd just like to know if i may look for another svt810.
Also, i would like to know what you guys think of my Genz Benz GBE 750 feeding that fridge....good mix ??
Thanks a 1000 times |

They switched to OSB cabs in '98 though. 2000 saw those speaker changes that made them too dark/boomy for most people. I'm pretty sure that's a decent 810 to grab. How much are you paying because you can find them for really cheap on the used market. |

I'm sure I'm not the first.
I'll try to do a search for a similar thread because I remember this being discussed about a week ago. |

My Aguilar is perfect but for what i'm doing now, the Ampeg will do the job better...talking about that tight bottom with low mid bump of a sealed cab for heavy rock played with a Stingray...you know |

I wouldn have suggested you check it out anyways if it was at a good price. Want to see my '98 810E I bought for $80, repaired* 4 speakers, and put 4 MOD10-50's in?
Get ready for it...
The only way I knew that the OSB cabs went back to '98 is because I can see all the sides of my cab.
*Repaired means I put index paper and rubber cement on both sides of cone tears. It's held up to a year of use without any problems. Dryer sheets among other things were suggested to me later but I'd already put paper on at the time. |

I wish I could get a cab like that for my 810. |
