Is This Ampeg V2 Cab Worth Pursuing?

I found a V2 cab that is missing one speaker, but otherwise seems to be in good shape. Guy wants $250 for it, which seems high to me. Would this be a good fit with a V4 as a bass cab, or is it better off used as a guitar cab? I'm also wondering if perhaps this was not one of Ampeg's better cabs--I can't find much info on it.

It's a ported 4x12. Might be ok, it was a guitar cab but with one missing speaker you could take the opportunity to replace one or two maybe. Definitely not for $250 though.

The head was. The cab was a "bass reflex" 4x12.

Thanks for your thoughts. It doesn't seem this would be all that spiffy of a bass cab even if it was complete...
