My 72 V4 is missing the top part of the chassis...I was wondering if anyone could kindly post a picture of their's so I can fabricate it? Thanks a lot!

Mine was missing that plate too. I simply measured where the lid goes, took those measurements to an auto body shop where they cut me a rectangle out of 18 ga sheet metal. I then placed the raw lid on the chasis and marked the screw holes, then drilled them. Fliptops has the right screws.

BTW, Fliptops also has the right reverb tank (on sale!) and it sounds great.

The original plate has a little locking mechanism that clamps down on the springs in the reverb tank. That whole setup would be extremely hard to mimic, I believe, unless one has a decent ability to fab small parts. IMHO that mechanism is not truly necessary...so fab a sheet metal top to fit as ddbassGA writes, and pop rivet the reverb tank on it.

There are lots of images here at ampegV4.com.

The mounting screws can also be found at hardware stores. The specs are available here: sheet metal screws, unslotted, hex head, #6, 3/8" length

Here is what the installed lid should look like:
