Ampeg V4B Classic Series Schematics, SM
 

I just got a 1996 Ampeg V4B Classic Series. I asked Ampeg for schematics and a service manual and they sent me a schematic for an old V4B 1974 schematic. The one that I have has the Red and Blue lettering and on the back says V4BH right above the serial number. Where the V4Bs only have 3 mid frequencies this has 5 mid frequencies and in the inputs and the knobs are exactly the same as the newer V4BH or the SVT CL. I took a look inside and the Preamp board is 06A519-11 Rev 1 06-96, the Power Amp board is 06A441-01 Rev 1 05-96, and the Tube Board is 06A295-11 Rev 2. I would really like to get the appropriate schematics and the service manual as it is out of warranty and I will be maintaining it myself for the most part. And yes I do know my way around the inside of tube amps as I have seven other tube amps beside this one.

I have the ones for that -01 power amp, but the next rev of the -11 preamp board (-12).

Not sure what the differences are between them. You should be able to sort them out though.
