Ampeg V4Bh

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys newbie here, I have owned this Ampeg V4BH for a couple of years. A quick story on it, I owned a SVT tube direct injection if you look it my pro it tells the rest. But I sold it to buy this V4Bh I am running it on a 4x10 cab unknown brand. As soon as I purchased this amp the band I was working on fell apart so the amp sat for quite awhile and I turned to my practice gig. Well after plugging it back in this weekend and slowly turning it up after warm I have a weak sound no highs, and very little lows. Know I have noticed that there are 4 output tubes but 2 brands could this be a issue or should I just start with testing all the tubes.
Thanks for your time

id start with testing tubes, yeah. the power tubes could be fine using different brands if they're matching pairs.
