so i just heard of these amps for the first time yesterday and there seems to be barely any information regarding these guys. anybody know anything about these things? just looking for information, when they were built, if they sound awesome, are they finicky like the other V-series heads, etc.

I don't know much about them, I think they came out around the mid 70s and used the same chassis as the SVT but were for guitar?

They also only had two inputs IIRC, and I have a feeling they may have had reverb (it's starting to come back . . . )

V9 was the guitar version of the SVT. Came with a 9x10 cabinet that was ported and the amp had a distortion knob IIRC. That's really the only difference as far as I know. They weren't around very long so they're kind of a rare bird. Only made for a few years in the late 70s.
