AmpegBA-115HP question

Dear talk bass community,
I am new here and have a question regarding this amp if anyone is familiar with it. I purchased this amp 2 weeks ago at guitar center and it sounded great. Within an hour of playing it at my home I noticed if I stopped playing and waited about a minute a rythmic buzz would play every 15 seconds or so. At first I thought it was my phone but found out it was not ,I also tried different outelts but the problem still occured. I evetually returned the amp and had a new one shipped to my house by guitarcenter (the previous one was a floor model) the new one sounds great but the tuner still flashes every 15 seconds after I stop playing (it did before everytime the buzz played) I can hear the buzz very very faintfully only if my head is next to the speaker. Its not something that bothers me as it is not audible unless I'm super close to the amp but I'm afraid the noise will get louder as time goes on. Has anyone had this issue before with this amp and is it a common thing? If so is there any way to remedy it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have had one since '04. It's one of the older U.S. made amps. Mine doesn't do the buzz thing. Have you tried playing it in a different venue? Could be a ground issue or something in your house wiring. Try it in a different room and try it at a friends house to see if it happens there.

i'd have to think that would be more of an issue inside your house than the amp. you can take it to a different house or building and try it and see if it goes away. first i ever heard of this, and it's doing it in two amps, so i'd be suspecting your house first.

Have you had your house checked for ghosts? Seriously though.... make sure your cell phone or any other device like that isn't sitting next to your amp.
