what amps do you guys use for your monitor outs on your PAs? Im using crown XTI amps for the mains and subs but they dont have 1/4" inputs for the monitor out on my mixer, what do you guys run? I pretty much just need 2 channel that do maybe 200w @ 8 400 @ 4 or so and have 1/4" inputs. running 2 monitors for now but eventually want to run 4 as the stages get bigger and they are about 200 w @ 8ohms

Or an outboard monitor EQ with whatever sort of outputs you like, since mixers rarely have adequate monitor EQ anyway.

ive read making hi-z to lo-z without some sort of powered device was bad for your system, dunno how true it is, but thats why it wasnt a consideration.
