Another Orange 212 or?

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, so I currently have an Orange Bass Terror 500w and one of the 212 Isobaric Orange cabs, which is not 'really' a 212, its a stacked 212, so its like a single 12 on steroids.

I need to buy another cab, the single is good for low volume but I need more girth.

Would buying a second 212 Iso give me much? I'd be doubling the speakers I guess, but what would it achieve? Ive never run mutiple cabs before. The cabs and amp are dark to start with, almost too boomy depending on the bass, I want arse kicking thump.

Or would I be better off getting a 410 to run by itself? And keep the 212 for smaller gigs..

Matching cabs is, imo, usually the best option.

I am in the same boat and considering doing the same thing by getting another SP212.
