any experience purchasing from Boynton Pro Audio in New York?

Just came across Boynton Pro Audio online and gave them a call on some TC electronic cabs... the prices they quoted for new in box were outstanding. I'm just wondering if its too good to be true or will I have a delivery of B stock? Any info will be very much appreciated before I pull the trigger.

Boynton's been in business since before I got into pro audio. I've bought some used studio gear from them but it was decades ago. They have a good reputation.

I bought a Stacatto 51, TC bag and foot switch from them recently. They came quickly, communication was great and pricing was terrific.

I think if you have questions about specific products they're selling, you should give them a call to make sure there's no mistake in the description.

Thanks Bob - I spoke to the rep directly and the company is as you described - been around a long time and keeps their overhead low... Nice to find a Company that lloks out for the customer and keeps prices reasonable... I'm working with a gentleman name Kyle - he's a bassist that actually plays through the TC cab system I'm purchasing...

BTW - this thread seems like it's starting to become a sales pitch... I am in no way affiliated with Boynton Pro Audio - Just impressed with their pricing and Service so far!

30+ years ago when I was an EE student, the studio I did tech work for used to get monthly flyers from Boynton Studio (as they were known then) listing the used equipment they had for sale. Mics, processing gear, tape decks, etc. It was really cool, and I used to imagine the place as a sort of heaven for audio techno-geeks like me.

Imagine craigslist—only on a smaller scale, with a good reputation throughout, and operating by mail or phone.

Hey - part of me wants to keep them a secerate - but I know our community can save some money... Their prices are unbelievable. i JUST SAVE $248 BUCKS on 2 tc RS210 cabs - new in box! - Kyle's Direct at 607-337-2687... Tell 'em Baltimore Joe Sent u.

quick update. Just got back from vacation and my two tc electroniic rs210s were awaiting me. Boynton Pro Audio is the real deal! Great customer service and amazing prices! Definately check them out first!

Did you ask them if they were selling B stock? I've seen their auctions on Ebay and their prices are low. I was curious, but I guess not enough to call. Is a seller obligated to disclose if it's B stock. Is the packaging on B stock items marked as such?

I did ask before purchasing and was assured that the were not selling B stock items- the items that were delivered are brand new with no defects in factory sealed boxes...
