very curious about real world experiences with this amp. Let us know what cabs you're using, etc. Also, if anyone has experience with the variable impedance 12" (4/8 ohm) I'm also interested in that.

I was VERY impressed with my short time with this amp and the 15" speaker box.

Thanks,
Cameron

What can you tell me about this amp cam? Whats the general sound or voicing like? Does it sound at all like a LH 1000?

from my brief time in a music store with it.

-Extremely powerful, feels like a REAL 1,000 watts
-great features, finally a return to bridged mono and stereo with a stereo effects loop
-the tone is superb just flat
-EQ VERY powerful and just in the right spot
-graphic eq frequencies just right
-tubey, warm, rich detailed 3D sound with TONS of dynamics and headroom, and I mean TONS

Honestly, one of the best amps I have ever played through, at any price. For $1,000.00 full retail, it's the bargain of the century. More power and WAY better sound than that $2200.00 Eden 1205 POS I had briefly - better than the WT800. It IS quite big, and moderately heavy with conventional toroidal transformers, and lots of volts going into the tubes - big capacitors - I do believe it is still lighter than the Eden 800/1205, but 3 rack spaces, and it IS deep. But what a great amp. Deep switches and stuff exactly in the right place tonally, silent switching, a fantastic rig, as was the 15" speaker cab I tried it through. Hartke's got a winner here, I believe. One of the best bass amps ever, IMHO.

Cheers,
Cameron
