Any one use Ashdown 2 x ABM 15's cabs?

Just about to get my hands on a new Ashdown ABM 500 along with a ABM compact 15 cab (want something small and compact for rehearsals, smaller gigs etc...to save my back!)

I'm going to get a 2nd ABM cab for larger gigs to get the full 4 ohm's worth out of the amp. The 15's are cheaper than the 410's, but does anyone have experience with using 2 x 15 ABM cabs compared to a 410 or 410 + 115?

Do 2 x 15's give much definition? I'm using a MIA Fender P with it, so i'd like those P mids and grind to come out. Should i get an extra 15 cab (full size, not the compact) or a 410?

You can't judge a cab by the size of the spkr, BUT, 2 of the same cab together is always better than 1 by itself, and more than twice as good. The 2 15's will work great, and definition will be had.

I used to run this same set up, but it never really worked out for me. The sound was too boomy for my taste so I dropped one of the 15s and now I'm running an ABM 115 and ABM 210 with the ABM 500. I love this sound, with it's full low end and mid range punch. It also has much more definition the two 115 cabs. Sometimes in the studio I'll still run just a single 115 if I want that big pillowy sound.

Had time to test drive a ABM 115 cab (the full size one) today and an ABM 210 compact. Actually found the 115 a tad boomy too...not sure if it was the arrangement of the showroom or the distance behind the ports but it wasn't what i was after. I have a Mag 115 and i have been impressed with it but i found the tone varies hugely depending on the room size, distance to the back wall etc etc (maybe thats the same with all 15's?)

However trying the 210's was fantastic...really punchy with the option of varying the tweeter too. I think this is more the tone i'm after. Anyway i put my money down.

Now i'm wondering if getting 2 of these will be as good (or better) than the ABM 410, but still give me the option of being really portable and light weight (relatively speaking! its still 28kg)? More GASing!
