Anybody hooked up 4x10mbe to their GK MB210?

Wanted to know how this sounds. Any clips would be great.
Right now im kind of at a crossroad.
1. wait for the powered 2x12 to add to my mb212
2. trade for mb210 then add 4x10mbe
3. scrap the mb212 and get mb500 head and 2 115mbe cabs.
But i think the 2x10 and adding a 4x10 would be better.

I had the mb212 then changed up to the mb 500 head with 2 mbe210 cabs and love it. I did try the mb115 and i would call it a little gritty compared to the 210, sounded more like the mb212 to me . if you like the sound of the 12's stick with them and wait for the powered 212 that would be wicked .... and would move more air due to the additional 500 watts..1000 watts and 4 12's how could you go wrong??

So a powered cab is essentially just a speaker with an onboard power amp pushing it? So the 4ohm 212 combo at 500w + a powered cab rated at 500w will just create 1000w?

Typically, what kind of price would be expected on a powered mbe212 type cab? I get the feeling it would almost be the same as the cost of just getting a second 212mb combo and running a stereo 1000w rig no?

I would believe that they will be a little cheaper then the combos. I'd say wait it out if you can. Maybe Larry will see the thread and chime in.

My opinion: find a used MB212 for less than $599...you'll have a more versatile rig.
