Anybody make speaker cab tilts?

I see guys use 2x4's or even faces of rack cases...

I'd rather buy or really make something for the purpose.

I saw a really cool tilt by Markbass that was a stiff foldable triangle that you could "unvelcro" (develcro?) and fold flat for toting.

I've used spring loaded handles for tiltback...

I still prefer the Penn spring loaded surface mount handles for existing combos and cabs. No cutting of a recess required. Just a thought.

I've got one of the folding leg ones from Speaker Hardware on a 112 cab and it does work great . You can get a pretty steep angle if you mount it back a ways and it's pretty easy to install . You do have to cut a hole in the center of the bottom of the cabinet so the legs fold up flush and screw it to the bottom of your cabinet but that's about it .

The stand legs are spring loaded to stay down and they snap up close to flush with the bottom of the cabinet . I think they work best when the cab has rubber feet so I added them to my cabinet but I think they will work with most stacking type corners too . When they are installed they are really classy , not cheap at all , and mine doesn't rattle either . Hard to believe they only cost seven or eight bucks .

Very nice .
