A cabinet from fliptops? I'm really thinking of getting a 4x10 closed back ampeg bass cab w/ eminence BP102-4's to go with my V-4B head. Any thoughts on how this baby will sound? on a side note, I know I'm being a real pain in the a%$ with all this v4b stuff, But I just want to get the right cab without it being too bulky and hard to move.

I have a sealed 2x12 Fliptops cab for my V4. It sounds great, looks great and is on the lighter side. I ordered a sealed 1x15 cab for my old SVT, but both are gone. The whole process was smooth, and I would order from them again.

i have a b-15 cab made by fliptops. it's a fine cab. the b-15 cab i have that was made by vintage blue is better made and more deluxe in styling, but vintage blue doesn't make v4 cabs so i'd go fliptops without hesitation.

IMO, the BP102's are not going to offer much high end, since they roll off at 2Khz. i'd rather have one loaded with B810's.

2 cents..

+1. the b810's specs are that of a superb ampeg sealed-cab type speaker, and though i haven't heard them, i'm dying to and would consider only them for a sealed 410 or 810.
