It's a solid state from the 70's. It says Griffin Music Inc. on the back. Someone told me they may have been distributed by Rickenbacker. Don't know if that's true or not. Any info appreciated.

There was a 200w (give or take) model, and a 400w model.
They were kind of a high end solid state MI amp. They never became a huge name, but they did decently good for a small operation. Rickenbacker bought them, didn't really change much, and sold them for awhile before they stopped using the name entirely. They have somewhat of a (small) cult following.

Now I remember, tried the 220 back in the 70s at a local NorCal music store w/a PBass, nice SS sound as I recall. Wound up building a few DIY cabs w/my dad based on that style. Heavy, but I was younger then w/a stronger back  |
