Anyone have a Fromel-modded Epi Valve Jr?

Sign in to disble this ad
In the past few days, I have been SERIOUSLY considering an Epiphone Valve Jr head*, and I just now discovered that Fromel has a mod kit for it. Anyone have any experience with this kit? - Editing to clarify my question...since the head is supposed to be a guitar amp, I'm guessing that the mod kit is guitar-oriented; what I'm wondering is if the kit would be good for bass as well.

* bass > Tronographic Rusty Box > Epi Valve Jr > a 112 cab to be maned later...it'll be my bedroom practice rig

I used an Epi VJr + 112 as a bedroom rig for a year and a half. Great tone! I recorded a couple tracks with my Jazz through it, actually!
