I'm curious if some people on here have a Traynor YC-810 cab. I have some questions for you, if you do.

I have three of them. What's on your mind?

I have one as well. Mine was made in 1973.

What's up?

Care to share with the rest of us? I have a line on one of these and I'm curious how they sound. Could they handle a 300W tube head?

Definately not. The cabinet has a maximum rating of 200 watts. You'll blow the speakers especially if they're the original eight 25 watt Marslands that the factory installed.

Upgrade the speakers to new higher rated ones and you'll probably be ok.

Thanks for the reply. I saw a Vintage Traynor gear site had it listed at 400W so I had my fingers crossed. The cab I'm looking at is missing a few speakers so I'd probably end up replacing all of them anyway, but then again that kind of blows the deal.

Can you comment on the tone of these cabs?
