Anyone heard of a Fender EB0 amp?

Sign in to disble this ad
Years ago I had a 1x15 Fender solid state combo amp that I am about 95% sure was labelled "EB0" or "EBO" on the front. I had gotten it from a girlfriend who had nicked it from her older brother who briefly played bass in the 80s. Back in '96 it died in the middle of a show, started distorting during the last few songs and then, as if on cue, totally cut out at the end of the last song of our set. Got dumpstered on the way home.

Anybody ever heard of this amp? Of course you can't google "Fender EB0" without getting a sea of Gibson basses.

Yeah I've looked there. I am positive it was a Fender, I still have the "Fender" nameplate somewhere (but no idea where), I took it off before dumping it. It was black tolex and black knobs. I am wondering if maybe it was a keyboard or pedal steel amp or something.

also that list says "A Fender Tube Amp Timeline" but this was SS, not tube.
