Anyone here directly A/B'ed the Walkabout w/ the Fender TV amps?

I'm not actually amp-shopping, this is just idle curiosity--but I have noticed that people make pretty much the same tone and "feel" comments about both the WA and the Fender TV's. Fewer people have actually owned/gigged with the TV's, since they are newer and kinda pricey--but surely somebody here has used both, and maybe even done a direct A/B? Yes? If so, your thoughts on the comparison?

No direct AB comparison, but I own and love a Walkabout, and have played with the TV15 a little. Same "basic" tonal neigborhood for sure, but the Walkabout seems to be tighter sounding throughout it's full range, especially on the bottom. The fender kinda reminds me of the old Bassman tube amps, more round and loose on the bottom, but still big and fat. I'd love to add a TV amp to my music room for that reason, but I'd never give up the WA to do so. And, as far as "tubiness" is concerned, as you're well aware, that's a can of worms that's way to hard to put into words adequetly, so I won't. Suffice it to say, both sound really good, but the WA wins for my ears- 'cause I like how warm and tight it sounds. Also, did NOT push the TV into any sort of o/d, so don't know how that might sound. Hope that helps some.
