Was anyone here lucky enough to obtain a Mesa Big Block 750 2x12 combo in the very short time that they were produced? I would like to know what people thought of them.

I owned a B750 head for awhile and a PH412 cab which I still have. The Big Block is warm and fat in many ways but can be fairly articulate and bright as the eq is simple but quite tweakable. I sold it eventually as I had no real use for the overdrive channel and found my Walkabout was almost as loud and half the weight. Great amp though, a 212 combo would be sweet but a heavy beyotch to lug around!

I didn't know they ever did a BB750 combo, but I would expect it to be alot like the MPulse 600 212 combo with the addition of overdrive. Should be an awesome sounding combo.
