I did a search but only found threads for people waiting for theirs/ or an initial good impression. I'm wanting a decent practice rig for the next year or so. I can afford about $300, so this seems like a good fit. I also wouldn't mind buying something used through GC/Craigslist/TB. My product knowledge is limited though. I'm a recent convert to Bass, traded in my drum set for an American P
Ive been playing music for quite sometime and would like a decent tone. I just don't need Insane volume right now.

1. Should I plan on the GK (I will be trying one out this weekend)

2. What should I look for used in this price?

Many thanks in advance.

Almost anything you're going to find on Craigslist is going to be heavy. If weight is a factor, go with the GK. My MB210 sounds great, and it's one trip from my car - bass in one hand, amp in the other.
