Looks like either a true vintage 'peg, or an SVT-VR to me.

Maybe even a heritage

so is that what those old svts look like if you pull the cloth grill off? also this one has large cream colored knobs. could have been added later tho.

I figured it was lights hitting the knobs - they're somewhat reflective.

I'm actually not sure. They didn't only pull the grill cloth, they put something in it's place and is obviously lit up. Definitely has the 4 inputs and general knob / switch layout of an SVT though.
His tone is rather boring though anyway :P you can cope that with just about any rig.

it's an SVT-VR (has a green pilot light), with fender cream RI knobs (as used on blonde amps), no grill board and they painted the front aluminum control panel black.

i agree that the tone in the vid isnt that exciting, but for some reason when i saw them last night, it was so full with great low mid growl but also clear and articulate.

I was standing just outside the venue during that SXSW show... they played the backyard at Stubb's, and from my vantage point outside, standing on the bridge nearby, the overall tone was outstanding, particularly the bass. Those videos don't capture much of the sound at all, but they do remind me how great of a show that was... some good friends of mine were lucky enough to open up for that show!
