| | | | Anyone seen one of these before? Hey all.
Can't find a lick of information on this Peavey cab. I bought it with a head that I planned on using, but this cab is just too monstrous. Two 12" speakers horizontally, then two 15" speakers vertically.
The back panel reads Peavey Festival 2-12 2-15. Don't mind the hack input job.
I'm thinking maybe a PA speaker, but haven't found anything to prove or disprove this.
Any thoughts? |

| | | | Thanks for the input. It is seriously heavy. It WAS loud. I stashed it in a trailer for a couple of rides and the wirings rattled loose! I tried to get into it to take a look but it's extremely hard to do. |

Any thoughts? | It is a PA cab, if its too big in one lump I bet you could saw it in half and
make a decent pair of cabs out of it, if they are all black widow drivers
and all work, I feel another biamp rig in the making. |

You'll find his contact info here:--> http://www.talkbass.com/forum/member.php?u=63520

I had an old guitar amp that I couldn't find anything about and they gave me the year it was made as well as a pdf of the manual. (Turned out to be a Peavey Classic A series from 1973.)

| | Registered User | | | | | I have seen older Peavey cabs like that one which also feature 2 10's and 2 15's as well as one that had 2 10's and 2 18's (I think). May be best for PA, but man I bet they are loud for sure. And I would not stand in front of it either, if it fell on you it would probably crush you to dust. |

| | | | Thanks for the replies.
I will definitely try to get in touch with Peavey. The serial number is very legible.
When I bought it, it sounded pretty sick. Like I said, as soon as it took a trip in the trailer, something must have rattled loose! I've found some info about the 2x10s with 2x15s, but haven't come across anything about these.
I feel like if it was designed for guitar/bass they would be a bit more common, but what do I know! |

I'm the guy talking to you on ebay. I collect this old stuff. is it wider than other 70's model 2-15 cabs? I'm thinkin it is/
I have both a festival head and a slave. they're freekin' HUGE! Leon Wilkerson used them (Lynerd Skynerd) what ever on the spelling...
He was endorsed and wanted something huge.
I'd like to have it and have a plan to ship it's big ass to Ohio. I left my number spelled out on ebay messaging. gimme a call.
Thanks-TB
