All the time. Mesa Walkabout 15" combo. Most of the time I take a matching extension cab, but not always. Neither are a pain to move around.

Heck yeah. Been using a 115 since 1988, sometimes 2 x 115 when needed. Nowadays it's my Little Mark III head through one or two Markbass Traveler 151P cabs.

Well i am not the richest guy in the world but I had to get something better than my old MIM Fender 4x10 that was in need of a complete overhaul. Lets just say it was a 25 year old sterile used old cab. So I scored two GK Backline 1x15's today for $200 bucks together. WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES! First time I have ever heard my Ampeg SVT 350H/B2R at its real potential! I am loving me some 15 thunder.

I know backlines are eh. But its light years of what I had.

Yes, I still have my SWR Workingman's 15. I sometimes use it for small room gigs.
it stays in the garage, ready to load up, sitting on top of an SWR 1 x 15 ext cab.

Here's my main gigging rig. Handles most small to medium sized rooms without PA support. Whole rig weighs less than 45 pounds, and pumps 500 watts.

I am able to do most of my blues gigs with a single Bag End S15D, but have a JBL MR15 cab (which mates beautifully with my S15D) that I'll also bring for gig situations requiring a higher SPL.

Yep , fEarful 15/6/1 . I sold the 15 sub , didn't need it although it did help shake the stage some . The 15/6/1 keeps up with my loud rock/blues band just fine by itself .

Bag End S15-D,usually coupled with a BE S12-D or for more booty, the S15B-D. The single S15-D can handle quite a few jobs on it's own though. BTW, I loaded a non lf Eminence 3015 in it,...sounds incredible!

I go with a Fender Rumble 150 combo...the 15 in it gives me fantastic tone and response!

I'm not gigging currently, but if and when I do I plan to use a 1x15".

In fact, the reason I bought a 1x15" instead of a 4x10" or 2x10" is from what I've read on talkbass. There seems to be a lot of love for pairing a GK 400RB (my amp) with a 1x15" on here... so that's what I did. I remember and if I interpreted it correctly, someone mentioning that part of this amps aggressiveness is the way that it efficiently powers a big speaker like a 15" without the "sag" of some other amps.

The other thing, is that the weight isn't too bad either. I used to have a 4x10 that was 40kg (Hartle XL410).

I'm here to tell you, this small, thin, angry sounding thing—powered by a Markbass LMII or GK MB500—kicks arse in some pretty large spaces. I've used it indoors and out, and it never disappointed.

FWIW, I think these are the finest 1x15 cabs ever made.

I've played many, many gigs in medium size venues without FOH support with this E-V equipped antique...

Is it just my imagination or are we the only two TBers that gig with a DB 115? Where are the other folks? It's time for them to stand up and be counted!
