Anyone tried the Ampeg PF350?

Can hardly hold my horses here! But since I'm living in the Netherlands the new Ampeg Portaflex amps and cabs won't be available over here till April/May.

I'm a very, very enthousiastic user of the Ameg Micro VR. Now word is that the PF350's specifics are based upon those of the Micro VR.
This makes me realy curious to know if the 350 Watt PF has the same awesome sound as the 200 Watt Micro VR.

If any of you over there in the States could perhaps A/B the two and post his/hers review here on TB, it would be very, very much appreciated!

I'm anxiously waiting too, I think they are just starting to come in but what Ive heard is good so far, but I wouldnt draw any conclusions yet since people seem to get a bit dazzled at first before noticing some flaws. But its definately a good sign.

I don't think it's out yet. Musicians Friend doesn't show a ship date until 3-21.

I played both the 350 and the 500 locally, but I'm new to the game. I can't tell you much except that they are out there.

Well, I guess it's gonna be me!

Just ordered the PF350 at a German Mailorder Musicstore. They already have them in stock.
So just a few days more and I'll be A/B-ing my Micro VR vs the PF350.
And if the PF350 sounds as good as the Micro VR, I'm going to sell the Micro VR.
