Anyone use a Peavey BAM?

Anyone use the BAM for small to medium sized clubs?

Any input on how you set it up would be appreciated - use of effects, compression, extension cabs?, etc.

I'm planning to set my BAM 210 on top of an 810 TX.

Thanks

I have a BAM 210 and in the past used it for gigging.
As others have said the BAM is a seriously LOUD combo, yet to this I will add the volume is very directional.
Vertical dispersion is much like any other 210: poor.
Horizontal dispersion is good to great.
The built in compressor sounds odd to me so I rarely use it.
I use it alone on small gigs with a stage.
Larger gigs and ALL outdoor gigs I have a 4ohm 15 I set out on top of. Seems to really help.
If you use any of the amp/cab modeling with expansion cabinets your sound may not be as true as you like.
If you like your volume turned past 2 or 3 o'clock distorted/effected sound can damage an expansion cab. Been there, broke that. Try and leave the DDT on if you can help it, but again YMMV.
Good luck on lifting that monster on to an 8x10. I've found the weight of my BAM to come between me and my band mates. That sucker is heavy!
