Anyone using a Gator 3 rack GRB-3U rack bag with a Carvin B1500

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been thinking about a rack bag like the Gator GRB-3U for my carvin B1500. I just was noticing the side vents on the B1500's case.....and that has me wondering if a rack bag is OK to use,...or could it perhaps restrict the air movement through the amp any more than a standard rack?? (assuming of course that the front and back of the rack bag are open all the way). I'm aware that the Gator rack bag has a plywood rack box,....but notice that the back of the bag is not quite as wide open as the front is when un-zipped.

Anyone using a Gator GRB-3U with a B1500??

it's better to have the side-vent open under high-load situation

If an amplifier has vents it's always best not to block them in any way.

Make sure the vents aren't blocked whatever case/rack you put it in.
