Anything like the Ampeg V4BH in production?

Ok so I really want a Ampeg V4BH but as you know they were discontinued.

I think my ideal set up is a 410 @ 4 ohms (I am thinking Avatar) and and an Ampeg V4BH, but I can't find one used and I don't like that the older V4s don't have a gain and master volume control. I really want that vintage sound and look if possible....
I want the rig to cost a total of $1000 so I have around $400-$600 to put into the head.
Do I have other options?

They come up now and then used. Have some patience.

Is there a reason you want the V4BH in particular? Why that head, exactly? Is the lower wattage attractive to you because of earlier break up?

I almost said Traynor YBA200 but then I looked at MusiciansFriend and they are almost $1,000 now!

I always thought they were cheaper. Did they raise the price recently?

you can find used v4b's all over the place for $500-600. True they won't be new, but the likelihood of you finding a tube amp new that's worth a crap for $600 is nil.

Yeah, used is pretty much the only place to find something like that for that price.

I'd look for used Traynors, keep looking for used V4 variations and maybe used Peavey VB-2's

There are some Marshalls that have 100-200 watts, but they'll be more expensive because Marshals are more famous among guitards.

It is lighter, cheaper, and I don't need to make ears bleed in my situation. I like the V4BH because it has the gain a master volume unlike the original. I also am not a "vintage" guy so the chances of getting one in good shape is a lot better.

I don't care if it is new I just like the set up of the v4bh so that is what is important.

+1 for a used YBA-200-2 as an option.
