I grabbed a cheap 2nd hand one of these on the weekend.
First thing I did with it? Threw it atop my 6x10 box and knocked out three sets with my band.
I can see (hear?) why they call this a 'bass magnifier'...

I have one, it's pretty nice......tend to fall in and out of love with it though....tonally.
It's a pretty warm sounding amp, and imparts a lot of it's own character on your tone, IMO.
So far it's been bullet proof and a great amp....so I'm not sure why I'm 50/50 about it?
