Ashdown ABM EVO II

So Im thinking about pulling the trigger on an Ashdown amp. It has a low pass filter. Would it be possible to send low freqs through my effects loop in my GK 400RB? My compressor and BBE are both stereo. Can I use 1 half of my rack for everything 160Hz and above, and the other half for 160Hz and below? I think it would be sweet to use the foot pedal and kick in the sub for certain notes/riffs. Can this be done?
Will I even need the BBE 882i?
The Ashdown head has an octave doubler built in.
Any advice would be appreciated.
