Ashdown with acoustic cabs ok?

Sign in to disble this ad
ive got an ashdown ABM evo II 500. would it work with an acoustic 410/ 115 rig and/or with the cabs separately? the head is rated at 500 but ive heard they over rate the wattage and the cabs are 400 for the 410 and 250 for the 115.

thanks

If the Acoustic cabs are rated for 8 ohms each and you run them in parallel to the amplifier (which I assume lists its rating based on for 4 ohm load), it will work fine. There is no predicting what it will sound like, but that is part of the fun, is it not?
