Ashdown EVO II Not Working...Help?

I had an EVO II RC shipped to me today and when I plugged it in it fires up, but I can't get any sound out of it. The input level meter is showing motion, but it won't produce anything.

Thoughts?

I'm guessing the mute switch is pushed in.

It was not pushed in. I pushed it a few times to make sure it was disengaging properly.

Fuse for the speakers outs bad or missing? Master volume up?

If isn't something absolutely basic or set wrong I'd return it.

also it looks like "speak-on" only does it have the right pos and neg pins per the head and cable?

I was running 1/4-1/4. I'll go try a speak-on cable.
