Thanks

So if you do not press the eq in you cannot change the sound from the flat shape?

How does this compare with the Trace Elliott?

On the ABM there are 2 buttons having an influence on the 7 band EQ.
First make sure you push the "Flat/Shape" button (near the input) , otherwise the "Shape" is engaged and has a massive hard to control low end boost. Yes, you have to push the button in order NOT to have the Shape preset.
Then there's the EQ in/out button right under the middle rotary pot. You have to engage this one for the 7 eq bands to be shaped.
