Have been searching for close to 14 years for the tone I heard this saturday. Grabbed my Ashdown LB30(arrived on friday) and after a loong drive I tested every available cab, hartke, swr, ebs and warwick.
Don't know why but I've always dismissed the mini svt cabs, not even bothered to read a review, they just looked like a cheap toy, on the other hand I didn't bother plugging in to the real 8x10 SVT they had, too big and too pricey, so I have no comparison.
But after trying all those other brands I just thought why not try the 2x10 svt cab? Plugged in my Little bastard and yes! this was it! round sound indeed!
Will probably get another in the future for stacking(laying down on the side of course) but for home studio use and jamming, my ATK300+LB30+micro svt cab just felt like home.
Will post a full review of all the gear later, just wanted to share the stoke!
