Is it time for a new amp? Or is this worth fixing?

This amp ran beautifully, had good tone nothing really wrong, besides the passive input not working.

What happens? of course at a gig my amp stops working.

It turns on, when i plug in the VU meter starts working like normal, put up the volume, nada.. the instrument cable, the bass, the speaker cable, the cab all work, i've tested em.

Also i looked inside at the fuses and they are fine.

Any idea what this could be and if its worth fixing?

Not a bad amp but I dont think I would spend much to get it fixed.

Exactly. You can buy mine (fully working apart from the sodding VU meter as usual) for £60! I'm in West Yorkshire.

Only a qualified amp tech can answer that, after it's on his bench.

If the passive input wasn't working, that sounds like a broken connection on the circuit board. This happens from the amp getting bumped around.

My guess is the active input has suffered the same fate.

Should be simple to fix.
