Ashdown Mag2 problem

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi, new member here...
I have an ashdown mag II 300 head (http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?ID=112) that I have been running from the DI through a PA until today when I got the mag II 410 cab, the first time I plugged it in and turned the head on (using a proper speaker cable, volumes right down on everything before turning on and everything plugged in correctly before turning on) it produces a very low interference like rumble before making an incredibly high pitched almost feedback like sound, has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas what it could be/how to solve?

Unless you're an amp tech, which I gather you're not, take it in to one. It's really your only option.
