If you are looking to do rock music of any kind, the BA112 is not going to cut it. Add a drummer to the mix, and you will lose. I have no experience with Ashdown gear.

If you want a combo for band practice, Gallien-Krueger MB210 2x10 500W Ultralight Bass Combo Amp: Shop Bass & Other Musical Instruments | Musician's Friend

That will do just fine if you want a rig usable with headphones and quiet practices along with having something for decent sized gigs. I suggest you start looking at separate pieces for a band situation and a smaller combo for practicing at home.

+1 jamming with drums will require something with both more power, AND more importantly, more speakers.
