Ashdown Service: A Surprise!

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently acquired a new Ashdown Little Bastard (working GREAT!) and I noticed on their web site that they sold covers for many of their heads and cabs. I want a cover for my LB and I know that I can custom-order one, but, I'd like to have an Ashdown branded cover for my LB (personal preference). So I sent an e-mail to customer support asking if there were plans to produce one.

Well, who should respond but the man himself, Mark Gooday........VERY SURPRISED!!!!!!

Mark replied that a cover had not been considered, thought it was a good idea and forwarded the suggest to his product people (thank you Mark!).

I think it says alot about a company when it's leader takes time to review e-mail in the customer inquiries inbox and then takes the time to respond. A "small thing" but I'm impressed.

That is all!!

+1 I don't own an Ashdown anymore but I had Mark Gooday help me trouble shoot my amp when I was having problems.

my LB blew a valve and i poke to Dave in technical who sent me out 2 new valves. It was only at the end of my dealings when he discussed how he had designed it did i realise that i had been helped by Dave Green, designer of the LB amongst other things.

I also had Mark answer an email reference the LB112.

Impressed so far

The Bass Place. It was the prototype from Winter NAMM.
