So i have a MIM jazz bass and im looking for an amp.
But i know little about heads and cabs because i only used combos before so which one would be best:

1.) Ashdown MAG 300H EVOII and MG410T

2.) TC Electronic BG500/210

TC stuff gets a lot of love around here. I cant really speak for myself as I haven't had the chance to give a TC the run-through yet.
If I were you I'd go to a store and give'em the ear and see which one You like the best.

I dont know if i should get a head and cab yet since i know little about them.
It might be a good idea to learn about them first before spending the money on one.

My main amp is a TC Electronic RH450.
My backup is a MAG250

assuming my amps are as close as I imagine to the models you mention...

Both sound great!

But they're different, so it's up to you and your taste, really.
Are you able to try them?

I prefer the RH450 over my MAG250... but I wouldn't be depressed if I had to play the MAG only.
