........um.........oh my.....

Digging around last night over at the Metroamp forums for anything about Marshall Majors, and I discovered a link to this gorgeous amp.

http://www.audioampco.com/amps/jmp150.html

From the site:
"This amp - a mixture of a Marshall Major and a Hiwatt Custom 100 - offers you a similar sound as a JMP 100, but much bolder
and louder. You get much more low mids, bass and punch.
The amp can be used both for bass - if you have suitable speakers - and for guitar."

4xKT88s or 6550s
Mid Boost Switch
Wild Switch (no idea what that means or what it does, but it sounds like it does something cool!)

Sadly....It's about $2800 or something like that, and it's in Germany.......But still, love the idea! I would love to see some of the Hi-end Marshall makers (Germino, Metroamp) recreate a Major for bass, with a bit better reliability. Anybody else think that'd be a sweet amp?

Absolutely! I've always thought the Majors sound really cool, and would love the chance to play/buy one, but their so uncommon! I really would love for someone to build Major clones, with a wee bit better stability. I'd be all over that like a fly on........feces....
