Hey all- I was wondering what the weight on the non-neo Avatar 212 bass cab is? Pro and cons of this cab too if you have had any experience with it. Thanks.

The B212's are also available with the regular magnet, regular steel basket Eminence Delta LF speakers. They weigh more making the cab 70 lbs but have even higher power handling at 1000 W. Rms. Same great bass and tone with either speaker type.
From here: http://www.avatarspeakers.com/b212.htm Internet much?

I have a Neo 212 and I think it's great. I've not played Delta LF-equipped cab but double the power handling must make for a seriously ear-damaging cab. What I don't know is how well this cab design can handle and project that kind of wattage and the resultant SPL out to the audience. The cab's construction is solid enough, even though it only has a single front-to-back brace (and it's a 2x4...really).

The interesting thing is that the Avatar TB153 has three front-to-back braces (according to the website) in the same cab as the 212. I wonder why? That 3015LF must move some serious freaking air, man.
